Wine & Liquor Joint ("we", "us") operates an online store for wine, spirits, and related products, delivering within Rwanda. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and mobile app, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

This app sells alcoholic beverages and is intended only for people who have reached the legal drinking age in their location. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below that age, and the app is not directed at minors.

• Account details — name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Order & delivery details — delivery address, city, province, and phone number, so orders can reach you.
• Payment details — your chosen payment method, and either the last 4 digits of a card or a mobile money number for reference. We do not store full card numbers, expiry dates, or CVV codes on our servers.
• Order history & loyalty activity — past orders, wishlist items, and loyalty rewards progress, so we can track your rewards and let you reorder easily.
• Support messages — any messages you send us through in-app chat or WhatsApp, so we can respond to you.
• Basic usage data — searches made in the catalog, used in aggregate to understand what customers are looking for; not linked to marketing profiles.

• To process, deliver, and provide support for your orders.
• To run our loyalty program (order-count rewards and free-delivery milestones).
• To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and — only if you've subscribed — occasional promotions, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To keep the app secure and prevent fraudulent orders.
• To improve our catalog and store based on aggregate demand.

We do not sell your personal information. We share delivery details internally with our own delivery team solely to fulfill your order. We do not share your data with advertising networks or other third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never stored or visible in plain text. Your data is hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.
